Overcome The Trials of Life In Strong Families

Book of Mormon Marriage And Family Study

1 Nephi 10:6

“Wherefore, all mankind were in a lost and in a fallen state, and ever would be save they should rely on this Redeemer.”

All Are In A Lost And Fallen State

If you want to save the world save the family! Families are the basic unit of society, and every social problem can be fixed by building the family. Furthermore, the cost of failed families to society is high. The breakdown of families cost societies millions even billions of dollars. Families are crucial to God’s plan for our success and happiness in this life and the next. This is why parenting is the greatest calling in this world.

The greatest calling for a woman is not in the office or workforce. Motherhood is how she can change the world. She can change the world as a righteous mother. Imagine the life your daughter could have if she learned from an early age where she came from, why she is here and where she is going and it was burned into her mind and soul. She would live a glorious life and would escape much of the anxieties and worries that most girls face. For example, mass media and pop culture could not corrupt her in making her obsessed over body image.

Every individual needs a strong functional family with a loving mother and father, so we can endure the hardships of life.

Life is hard and God intentionally made it this way so we would be forced to rely on Him. That is why families are crucial because they are a powerful source of help and strength to a struggling family member.

No family is perfect but many are doing very well and enjoy high levels of happiness despite great family challenges and hardships.
