Turning Weaknesses Into Strengths

Book of Mormon Marriage And Family Study

1 Nephi 14:1- “Unto the taking away of their stumbling blocks.”

The Lord in the Book of Mormon promises that weaknesses can be turned into strengths. However, sometimes by divine purposes they are not made into strengths. We are meant to be weak in this life so we rely on the Lord’s strength and not our own. Furthermore, we don’t have the Lord’s mind and His ways are higher than our ways. Therefore, we should go forward in faith to turn weaknesses into strengths but if our best efforts don’t work; assume that it is not the Lord’s will to make it into a strength. The irony is the weakness makes you stronger because it forces you to turn to Him for help.
