President James E. Faust



President James E. Faust was born July 31, 1920 in Delta Utah. he served a full time mission to Brazil. He served in World War II. He was married in the Salt Lake temple in 1943. His professional career was in law. He also served a few years in the Utah Legislature.

President James E. Faust was called as an Assistant to the Twelve in 1972.

He died August 10, 2007.

Standing in Holy Places: "I encourage our Saints all over the world, wherever possible, to strive to stand more often in holy places."

The Light in Their Eyes: "A sacred light comes to our eyes and countenances when we have a personal bond with our loving Heavenly Father and His Son."

Called and Chosen: "Those called, sustained, and set apart are entitled to our sustaining support."

Instruments in the Hands of God: "Your influence for good is incalculable and indescribable." (October 2005 Conference)
